The thirteen amendment is basically saying that the slavery or involuntary servitude in the United states is prohibited, unless is a punishment for a crime.
The section one of the fourteen amendment is the one that gives to all those people who are born in the United States the citizenship of the country and the state in which each one reside. This amendment is the one that gives us rights and basically protect us from the state this amendment states that no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the law
The section two of the fourteen amendment says that the representatives are the ones that decide how things should take care of but the people are the ones that chose who can be making those decisions by voting and it also states that any male of twenty-one years of age has the right to vote unless they committed a crime.
Section three of the fourteen amendment states that no one can be a senator or Representative in congress, or elector of president and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military unless they had taken an oath to the United States, or if the person committed a crime to the country, but congress may vote to abolish this.
Section four talks about the debts of the public, that they are not going to question anything, but neither the state nor the country will take care of your debt, and also that all debts are not illegal nor void.
Section five of this same amendment just gives the congress the power to do adjustments to this amendment.
The fifteen amendment gives the right to all citizens of the United States to vote no matter their color, their race or their previous servitude.
